Online Quiz Competition

 

Topic: Nature, Environment and Sustainability

 

Guidelines for Participation: 

§  Students of age more than 11 and less than 15 years will be eligible for participation in online quiz competition. Age will be calculated as on date June 01, 2021

§  Registration will be on PGSC website ( www.pgsciencecity.org)  up to June 01, 2021, 12 noon. Uploading of Aadhar Card or School ID Card having photo and date of birth in pdf/jpg format will be mandatory for registration.

§  Only 3 entries per school will be considered.

§  First 100 eligible entries will be selected for screening round.

§  Eligibility will be decided on the basis of submission of complete form on first cum first basis and first three registrations from each school.

§  Zoom link for the online quiz will be shared with the eligible participants through WhatsApp group/registered email Id

 

Screening Round:

§  All participants will need to have google account for participation in the screening round.

§  Screening round will be conducted by sharing link of Google Form. Participants will be required to submit the form within the stipulated time.

§  Screening will be completed in 2-3 rounds depending upon the number of participants.

§  The questions in the screening round will be MCQ type.

§  Students will get fixed time to attempt the questions and submit it back. No entry will be accepted after the given time.

§  Students will have to keep the video camera ON during the quiz.

 

Final Round:

§  Top 10 students selected from screening round will participate in the Final round.

§  Final round will be conducted through power point presentation

§  There will be approx. five rounds of quiz in the final round.

§  Students will get 10 seconds to answer each question.

§  Question once asked will not be transferred to the next participant.

§  Students will have to keep the video camera ON during the quiz.

§  The decision of quiz master will be final in case of any dispute.

 

Prizes

Winners will be awarded with attractive prizes along with merit certificates. First 100 eligible registered participants who take part in the preliminary round will get Free Science City ticket and E-certificate of participation.
